minion invasion

the restraunt where we celebrated cassandra's birthday had hats displayed
made by one of the talented wait staff.  They only had one minion hat available so we ordered another for cassandra for her birthday.  yesterday she picked it up on her way home.  The kids were excited that they had matching hats with cassandra...

Northside elementary Christmas program

these two beautiful girls had the christmas program last night...
from finding the perfect dress...to curls in their hair
the nervous excited energy that they displayed all day was contagious..

and this amazing women... Mrs. Bruce has for years presented the most amazing
Christmas program.  From the first concert I attended when beckie was in elementary to last nights program I have been captivated and charmed.  I have smiled and laughed, and wondered just how does she get all those squirming, little bodies to sing and perform and not break a sweat or blow a gasket.
She is a wonder...I look forward to this concert each year.  It is the best reminder of what Christmas spirit is all about
