this year's book
beckie suggested this book after seeing a post about it on facebook. the illustrater was offering a portion of the sales to a family who had a child with cancer. She also signed each book for the kids.

kiawanis light display....round two
last night we took my dad to see the light display in mankato...we got in line at 5:30 and after a very small wait of 30 minutes we were entering the park. My sister went later in the evening and they waited 99 minutes before reaching the park. After the lights display we went to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings. Beckie and Josh were also able to join us for the evening.

sparkly, purple boots
it made her day when she found these in the shopping bag
her favorite color is purple and sparkles just made that 4 year old's heart quite happy
she wore them to bed and to buy groceries the next day
