a trip to the zoo
still pausing, that three year old was reaching the end of her rope..
this is what no nap looks like
checking out the wolf exhibit
reyna wasn't too sure about their howling..but rosie was completely fascintaed by them
captured one of my favorite photos of her and a wolf, posted earlier.
love her sense of wonder and curiosity...
despite the rain...which gave a reason to buy a couple of umbrellas
it was a full, fun day at the zoo
Dinosaurs
as we approached music from Jurassic Park was playing..
totally appropriate and a discovery that anthony has never seen this movie
that needs to be corrected and soon...
and this would be where that three year old simply had, had enough
she was not impressed with the fog, or with what was waiting inside the fog...
"get me out of here" was yelled for all the world to hear...
I thought it was a rather cool special effect...so did Anthony
we decided that next time we would leave the girls outside the gate, they simply are not ready to
dinosaur hunt...yet.

mud kitchen
another Pinterest find...
when I first saw a picture of one, I thought "no way."
but I kept going back to it, and thinking about it, and working it through in my head
until I just knew that this was something the daycare kids needed.
I began scouring and searching for a table and kitchen
items to fill it with...
after finding the table on clearance I realized it needed something more
so the chalkboard was created..
last night I found this wicker basket set at hobby lobby, at half price...loved that
picked up a few inexpensive kitchen items. Also found items at the dollar store and of all places
Pamida.
but the best source was the thrift store..where I picked up tiny pans and pots
and all sorts of kitchen stuff...and when I checked out the best news of all
everything was half price yesterday...
yes that just made my day
graduation
a friend and former daycare parent asked me several months ago
if I wold be willing to create a table decoration for her daughter's
graduation from high school.
She was asking several people who had been a part of Morgan's life
to do this..
What an awesome idea!
of course I said yes, and then as is so me lately I didn't start it.
Graduation is a week away, so today I got busy...
the red and white mats on the bottem will hold pictures of the graduate
whew...hope they like it!
