teddy bear clinic

 Kindergartner's participated in a health fair clinic sponsered by msu nursing students.  Designed to teach these little ones what is involved in a medical visit, in hopes of removing so much of the fear.

50 years

 a half century of life (yikes!)   Thursday was my birthday.  my 50th birthday. 

my morning started with birthday cards made by the kids and happy birthday's said with a child's excited voice.  later in the morning a text arrived from a friend that in part said "I hope your day has 50 wonderful moments"  what a great friend right?  a visit from my aunt and uncle so unexpected and such a wonderful time, flowers arrived to fill the house with bright spots of color.  The mailman delivered a flood of birthday cards.  Turning 50 was filled with many wonderful moments but honestly it's going to take awhile to wrap my brain around the fact that I am 50.

April 22nd was earth day!  the kids were ready for the day in their Earth Day shirts.

Kasandra's birthday is the 23rd of april...since everyone was gathered for easter and Josh's birthday we added Kasandra's 16th birthday party in with all the other celebrating.  It was a day filled with a lot of celebrating and laughter, what a fun day filled with family

Josh's birthday

landed on easter this year.  Naturally we added a bit of birthday celebrating to the day, birthday cake makes every day special.  Happy Birthday Josh, being your mom has been the most amazing experience.

are at the perfect age where the easter bunny is a magical exciting thing, when believing in a big white bunny is perfectly sensible.  I hope they hold onto that childhood wonder for a long time.
