At the park

Playing at the park I played at every time I visited my grandma.  I don't suppose my 6 year old self imagined a day when my 51 year old self would swing on the same swings with my 6 year old daughter.  Sometimes life circles around in the most beautifully unexpected way.

The list of rooms that are being painted and freshened seems long but this past weekend we checked a couple more of the list...

The daycare room received new paint and border.  The border was necessary since painting straight line is impossible for me.  Those are the kids and daycare kids handprints.

Bathroom redo

Spring is in the air. And this year it has me looking at our space and thinking it needs to be freshened and re-done.  

I started with the upstairs bathroom, we spent the weekend painting and freshening up the space.  Just waiting  for the shower curtain to arrive, and the flooring to be replaced.

I realized

When putting together an invite for his confirmation I discovered I have very few photos of just him.  Plenty of pics of him with one sibling or another, but none alone.  Time to change that, he cooperated reluctantly.
