Anthony was able to attend the reginal competition for derby cars. Kevin, Anthony and Rosie attended this year.
it was held in windom this year.  It is a fun day filled with car racing of course and activities.
He took second in the reginal derby car race.

a crafting kit I ordered for the kids...this month was on recycling and saving the earth
with the crazy weather we have had these past few weeks it's nice to have some
kits like this on hand to entertain and keep this crew busy, since outdoors is a bit of  a challenge
these days...

the girls liked that it was material that colored the eggs, an unexpected surprise.
this was part of a kit I ordered from etsy.  A spring crafting kit put together by fairies
(which completely captured my girls' spirit of fun and love fairytales)
there was a lot of discussion about how the fairies special material had the magic to color eggs...

in april...who thought it could be possible
the kids loved the unexpected and unseasonable weather we had last week,
loved that they had a snow day on  thursday (in april)
loved the perfect for building snowmen and snowforts snow..in april

I think perhaps this snowfall in april was the largest of the winter..
in april mind you...

and no she wasn't moving snow, that would fall into the work category which she will avoid with every ounce of her being.

the auction was last sunday and we were the lucky ones to bring it home.

she found her's by accident, inside the dryer under my sweater...
surprised she found her's first since she never looks in the dryer....

her basket was tucked inside the egg chair and she was pretty excited to have found it...

it didn't take her too long to discover her basket under all the blankets the daycare kids use

inside the reading nook was where his basket was...he was quiet proud of himself for finding it all by himself.

he had to wait until after church to find his basket apparently hiding it behind the tv was just a tough one this year.
