and so operation halloween costume
was underway this weekend,
the goal was to turn this into a fish bowl...
a lot packaging tape, and muttering, and duct tape and muttering, and tissue paper later
we had a fish bowl the child could be happy with.
yahaira rounds out the theme as the Cat in the hat.

as those nights become chillier and the days shorter, it was time to drag out the warmer coats,
not those winter coats mind you but that in between coat for fall, which lead to the discovery of this coat hanging out in her closet purchased during the summer at a fair we attended. It was a 90 plus degree day and honestly the thought of buying such an item caused even more sweat to run down my back, so hard to imagine those chilly fall days....but here we are and she is thrilled to be wearing her monkey jacket

Munnchkin market
This is the first time we have attended this event... A garage sale aimed at kid products. It was at the civic center in mankato the firmament were very excited by the movie selections. I wasn't to wowed by the clothes choices ( very worn and high priced) and felt that most of it was higher priced than other places but I enjoyed my conversation with the enfamil representative.

the arrival of this
was greeted with excitment and happy dances...
11 days without a washer was a test of patience,
humbling...laundromats are an interesting place
and the reminder of how spoiled we are to have appliances that offer so much convience.
Rosie's friend birthday party
her birthday was in July...but we were a little overwhelmed with life...
so in august when she stated "hey we didn't have my birthday party" I suggested we wait until school started making the delivery of those invites a bit easier. She was completely cool with that
so the last Sunday in September we reserved the pool room at the Super 8 and prepared for the party
Turtles was the theme and swimming the plan.
it seems we accomplished this with great success!
