these two
are at the perfect age where the easter bunny is a magical exciting thing, when believing in a big white bunny is perfectly sensible. I hope they hold onto that childhood wonder for a long time.
the great easter basket hunt
the first to find her basket...
he found his last but was probably the most excited about the entire hunting experience. thinking that easter bunny needs to find some more challenging hiding spaces in the future...
then and now
during the winter Karla (pictured on the left above) dropped of three of those dresses she explained they were cleaning out he rmom's house and had come across these matching outfits. She thought of our girls and wondered if we would want them. of course I said yes!
easter morning and all three girls are wearing their matching dresses....yes I do realize that matching anything is not going to be happening much longer but this mamma is going to take advantage of the fact that for now they are cool with it.
we had to have some alterations done on reyna's but the other two fit perfectly. Love that their dresses had a story and history to them.

vintage
a friend from church dropped off a box of clothes one night, she was in the process of cleaning out her mother's house and said maybe you can use some of these for your girls or for dress up for the daycare. I looked through the box and discovered some beautiful dresses. Handmade and in amazing shape. I selected a few and after they had been cleaned and pressed the girls were very excited to try them on. Reyna has worn the red dress pictured above many times, she likes the fact that the skirt twirls. So glad that Karla thought of us to share these little treasures with.
daycare easter egg hunt
a smaller number of kids this year, some years it's nearly impossible to get everyone together...this crew didn't mind the fact that there were fewer kids
