Star Wars

at the very top of the screen is Anthony's face as he builds his spaceport.
it seems as tho the music from the movie should be playing in the background just to set the mood for these pictures. It was in a word amazing. Anthony and I spent hours in this exhibit, loved all the interactive features, from building a land rover to building a farm on Tatoonie.

every time we discover something new, and always it seems as tho there just isn't enough time to see it all.
This time is was the light exhibit which drew the most attention, well after the star wars exhibit of course.

back to school....

Friday was Cassandra's move in day. Once again she packed the night before, sigh. She has the same dorm room again this year and two of the same roommates. Soccer practice began Saturday morning... and she was home saturday night :)

8 on the 8th

August edition.
Cassandra babysitting Beckie's cat something she rather enjoys doing.
Those would be my grape vines, the ones I planted two summers ago, do you suppose we will ever grow grapes?
the sand box,which daily gets transferred into my house, carried in on those wonderful little people pictured it is their favorite place to play. And this is a pic from yesterday, capturing this little wonder so completely. The outdoor photo, no snow, but sigh the grass is looking a bit rough in places and the poor birds better not be relying on those bird feeders for the meals, since they are all quite empty. The group photo, and miss Yahaira, and another photo from yesterday's pics at Nichole's...love their faces, love how she captured them so completely.

summer 2008

today we did what is becoming the annual summer photo shoot with Nichole.
We ventured back to the same place as last summer's location. Seriously loving this place.
Last year we had done the pics with hopes of using one of those pics on an adoption announcement...
since that event didn't occur last year, here we are again taking a new set of pictures...(perhaps this will be the year?)
What follows is a few pictures...well actually a lot of pictures. (consider yourself warned) We also did Rosie's 3 year pics today and between the two photo shoots there are 450 pics, yes your eye's didn't deceive you that was 450 pics. I am quite certain I will never be able to choose... just a few. Nichole is my hero...and she takes the most amazing photos. Enjoy!
