so proud of this kid for pushing herself and exceeding each challenge.

Saturday July 13th  we headed to the Chanhassen to see the production of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  This was our family christmas event.  This year Linette and her family, my dad Linda and Larry, Becky Wellnitz joined our family (minus kevin who had to work)  It was an amazing show and the meal was pretty awesome too.

Not quite how I had pictured my week...

the monday after betty passed away was spent getting things in place for the visitation and funeral at the end of the week, working and getting sick. By mid afternoon I was in the ER, positive I had food poisoning having spent the past two weeks in rochester and home I was certain the oj I drank was spoiled. After several tests I was sent to mankato where it seemd my appendix was the problem.
by Tueday morning I was in the operating room having the pesky thing removed.  Home Wednesday morning and then began the doing nothing routine It is rather boring this doing nothing.   A few weeks out from that crazy week and I am doing just fine, my energy isn't perhaps where I would like it but I am able to move through the day much like I did before, it just is a bit slower.  So glad it was a simple thing and that the recovery was rather easy and pain free.

an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen was your choice for cake

once again you celebrated your birthday while on vacation...this year in duluth

and when we arrived home later in the day you enjoyed opening your presents

and blowing out your candles

we headed to duluth for the 4th, leaving on the 3rd and staying overnight in Bloomington,
on thursday we headed to Duluth where we stayed until sunday July 7th
