Today she is 6

6 years ago this little wonder took her first breathe in an ambulance enroute to mankato...since that rather non traditional arrival this child has embraced each day with an eager curiosity, a sense of wonder, and a determination to fully experience each day (there is no slow speed in her world) 
She was barely 24 hours when I met her and held her for the first time....as she stared into my eyes I knew my life was going to change in multiple ways but what I couldn't have imagined then was how she would beautifully fill  my life with life and energy and love.

Happy Birthday Reyna! I can't wait to see how you define being 6.

Birthday party

With friends
Saturday was the day she had been waiting for weeks to arrive her first birthday with friends. She wanted a mermaid them so I went to my go to source for inspiration Pinterest.  I found some cute decorating ideas and some activities that looked simple and fun.  The girls loved the mermaid tails and the pinata.  They enjoyed the mermaid punch and goldfish crackers.  It was a fun party and the birthday girl smiled all day.
