when you listen to someone who says that the little drip you discovered in the basement was nothing to worry about. Fast forward 3 or so months and that someone makes a statement two nights ago that the toilet in the daycare bathroom is quite wobbly. "So should I call someone to look at it?" I wondered. "Well....... " he pauses "maybe it needs to be tightened." "So you're going to do that?" I ask. No response... So then I just wondered out loud if perhaps he was just waiting for the whole darn thing to just fall thru the floor before it became a reason to take care of it. Yeah that didn't go over too well, but yesterday morning the carpenters arrived after a bit of looking they called in the plumber. (at least they didn't have to call in the army for recovery) It was explained that they would have to replace a seal, a valve, and some other expensive sounding parts, but the good news was, they didn't have to replace the entire floor, just the area around the toilet. Oh goody! I thought. Yes there was sarcasm included in that comment. So above are the work in progress pics, carpenters and plumbers are messy workers, but bonus, they clean up after themselves. And below is my bathroom once again restored to working order.
Life as I know it. These are the things that matter to me...my faith,my family,my friends
