each day brings more color and more new plants pushing there way thru the dirt
love seeing the raspberry bushes starting to leaf out...soon we will be enjoying those berries
we have picked our first batch of rhubarb with requests for muffins and pie to be baked from it..
our asparagus is on year two, once again we watch it grow waiting for year three when we can actually pick it
the magnolia tree bloomed this year, and at this point that is all that is on it, flowers and not a single leaf.
the garden is tilled and waiting to be planted love the look of freshly tilled dirt it simply calls for you to dig and play in it.
Reyna's favorite flowers are the dandelions...she has figured out how to pick bunches of them.
tiny toes in the grass...love, love, love it!!
lilac buds with a blue sky behind...just screams spring
tulips and more tulips filling the yard with color, so welcomed, so needed after this winter
she discovered the swing and has marked it as her spot...I see many hours spent in this very spot with her
can't think of a better way to spend time...
we are welcoming spring each and every day, from the sunshine, and warm breezes to the raindrops and thunderstorms...
we have waited, and waited for these days to arrive...
and as toes test out grass and more often than not shoes are left behind...
coats are soon shed as the sun warms the air and earth..
and we dig in the dirt filling even more spots with plants and color
we have been selecting vegetable plants to fill our garden space
and trying to figure out if there is just a bit more room to add another fruit tree
our free time is spent preparing and planting and soaking up this season of spring....
