Anthony is playing basketball this winter
his first game was today in fairmont
where his team played New Ulm and then Blue Earth
they won their first game, and lost the second
I wondered if he would ever leave the bench...he doesn't have that killer instinct
and the mom in me wondered how he would do at defense
he has such a kind heart
he played and stumbled a few times finding his stride
and then, then
he made a shot and scored!
I did almost fall off my chair.
I did.
and then he did it again
two in a row
oh my word this kid surprises me all the time.
later when I was talking to him and said "great job, you played an awesome game"
he just shrugged and smiled.
