boiling eggs...

this is the second box we have received and once again the snacks are a hit...
Easter treats....
a bit of crafting happened the night before the kids' last day of school before easter break...
these went out the door the next morning for teachers and important people in my kids life.
finding spring...
when the calendar says it's spring and the view outside your window still looks way too much like winter it becomes my mission to find spring...and this year I found spring at walmart.
These plants just called to me and soon one made it's way into my cart, the kids have enjoyed watching the tulips bloom, and the little burst of color has certainly perked up my days...

batman....
made an apperance the other night....
cassandra just had to try on her dad's batman mask from when he was 3.
yes that would make that mask over 50 years old
cupid shuffle
start with some music....mix in some dancers...big and small
the results lots of laughter and good times
color search..
start with paint sample cards found anywhere they sell paint...
punch out a square on one end and paper clip together on the opposite end.
kids can fan out the color they want to search for, the cut out square allows them to hold the card up to an item to see if it matches.
this is an activity that they never tire of...they love searching out colors in the space they play in.

Pinewood derby....
anthony's fourth year of racing a car in the pinewood derby
this year he received two trophy's, which left us with one pretty excited boy last night...
