Children's theater

Sunday we took the kids to a play at Stages Theater Company.  It was our first time visiting the city of Hopkins and this theater.  The play was One Dog Canoe, based on a children's picture book.  I didn't realize it was also a musical.  After the first song I had a moment of this seems familiar but how can that be? Rosie tapped me on the arm and said "Didn't we hear this song at the library event last week?"  "you know those brothers that we saw"  I peeked  at the program and sure enough the songs were adapted from the music of the Okee Dokee Brothers.  What an unexpected surprise.  The kids had loved the concert we attended and now here was the very same songs in this play.
