yesterday I mixed up a double batch, Cassandra and Beckie cooked it. Those first ones pictured were not rolled since I didn't purchase the little roller thingy...Beckie figured out how to roll them without the roller so the remaining krumkakas looked more traditional. I can remember making these with my mom, years ago. In fact that is her recipe we used yesterday, (love that it is in her handwriting, that alone brings back memories) The house smelled wonderful yesterday afternoon...the kids certainly enjoyed this new type of cookie. A pretty good way to spend an afternoon snowed in.
