"I want to cut my hair" she said the other day. "You mean trim it?" I asked. "No I want it short" was her reply. I stopped breathing, (she has never in her 6 years cut her hair) I called Erica (the amazing, calm, beautiful person who has cut our family's hair forever) She calmed this momma down and scheduled an appointment.
I asked her the other day if you're going to cut off so much hair do you want to donate it? We searched online for programs and she decided that she liked Pantene's Beautiful Lengths program. On the way to her appointment this morning she said "I have soooo much hair I'm glad that I can donate it, so someone with cancer can have hair too." I have said to myself countless times this week its only hair, it will grow back, but honestly I wasn't ready to see her cut her hair. Once again my 6 year cut right to the point and put into beautiful perspective what truly matters.
