Last night the kids and I went on a bike ride, naturally we headed to the bike trail near us. This is often where we head I like the safety feature of riding on the trail, no need to worry about traffic with the little bikers and the kids love seeing the birds and occasional turtle. About 1/2 way around for us there is a shelter set up with a picnic table and benches. Last night we packed a lunch and the stopped at this little rest stop to eat dinner. Yes you only see two enjoying their meal Rosie fell asleep before we made the first turn. I guess I forgot the value of doing something spontaneous Anthony and Yahaira chatted and laughed the entire time, asking almost before they finished their meal when we could do this again. Rosie did sleep thru our entire adventure but she was completely happy to eat her packed lunch later at the home, she just simply loved the whole idea of her meal packed in it's own little container. Of course that brief little nap kept the little wonder up until 12:30 last night, sigh....somewhere there is a balance.
