yesterday the girls discovered that the strawberries were ready to be picked. You might notice a few non red berries in their bowls, this is the first picking and we need to fine tune just what "ripe" means. Rosie just sat down right in the middle of our patch and picked any and everything...love her toes peeking out of the plants. Yahaira bounced from one plant to another excitedly showing me each new berry she found...naturally the best part was eating them...they tasted amazing.
