sometimes

a most unexpected gift arrives and just makes your day.
I was sitting outside with my daycare kids the other day when two young guys ride up on their bikes, one walks up to me and hands me a bag of rhubarb and a note. "It's from my mom" he says and quickly leaves. I'm not sure if his hasty exit was due to my shocked look or maybe it was all those kids that had him worried. As I read the note which said in part "I read your blog.....enjoy the rhubarb. love Teri" I couldn't help but grin. Teri you made my day, my week even. So sweet of you to share your rhubarb. My little people and my daycare kids are loving you right now as they enjoy fresh from the oven muffins each day. You are too kind. Thank you for thinking of us.
