Saturday morning our local library held a story time with author Jill Kalz. She read two of her books Farmer Cap, and Henry Shortbill swallows the Sun. The kids were excited to eat breakfast at the library and loved picking out their own little box of cereal and then watching as the box magically turned into a bowl. Their favorite story was about Henry Shortbill. After the story time they were able to meet the author and she signed a book for them. So exciting! We have read Henry Shortbill Swallows the Sun countless times since yesterday morning. I think it is on it's way to being the current favorite book in our house.
