Rosie was a bit unsure of this whole plan...Anthony and Yahaira bounced right up on the step stool eager to see what was next.
I briefly wondered if Anthony wasn't going to just dunk his head right in the water.
I asked my friend Shirley if she would be available to take photos during the service. She said yes! which made me so relieved since her photos are always amazing. A few days ago she mentioned that her daughter Macy was going to come along and take photos too...yeah!!! was my response...above is some of their photos...love how they captured the baptismal font and the hymnals in the pew...I haven't stopped smiling since I first looked at the photos they took...so glad they captured this day in such a wonderful way.
presenting the candles...love how Shiree gave the candle to each of the older kids, we had a bit of a melt down by Yahaira cuz' Josh blew the candle out and she didn't get to. Shiree was the kids guardian ad litem, she has journeyed this road with us thru every up and down. We were so happy that she was able to be a part of this day in our little people's lives.
