Only one day left

Thursday..johnny's last day before he returned to the north pole with santa.  After I took the photo I realized how much of our life and space it captures. Photos and words that define our space and us.

Christmas eve is always a late night with candlelight service and arriving home after 11:30, getting excited not very sleepy kids to bed and then filling Santa's shoes it was 1:30 before I finally settled into bed.  Realizing at 2 am that I had not moved the elf  brought groans and grumbles, sigh, at least I remembered before Johnny was "discovered" christmas morning.  That might have been a bit difficult to explain.

Indian Bingo

Each year amongst the typical gifts there are always a few that are just ridiculously funny.  

This year's laughter generators were dinosaur High heels, batteries, no gift included, 3 foot long snickers, and a kleenex box with some dollar bills inside.

Piano

She wants to learn how to play the piano.  Brandon is letting her use his keyboard so she can begin lessons in January. We had one very excited little girl.

Christmas morning

The youngest two promised they were going to wake early in the morning...in woke atv7 (thank you sweet boy for letting me sleep in) the other was the last to wake an hour later.

The morning was spent opening and playing with Santa gifts a quiet and simple start to this day
