Friday Johnny spent the day in the refrigerator where many of the items had eyes.
there were giggles all day long every time a child opened the fridge door to grab the milk or
juice.
Sunday Johnny was back on the tree (Kevin's go to place whenever it's his turn to move the elf)
That angel has graced the top of our tree for 26 years. I remember seeing it on a store shelf before Christmas the year we moved into our 1st home. I had always enjoyed precious moments items loving their whimsy and innocence. It was not in our very stretched budget to buy the angel, being first time home owners comes with a lot of extra costs so I started saving thinking the next year we could add the angel to our Christmas collection. My aunt surprised me a few weeks before Christmas, (she had been with me when I first saw the angel) with the money to purchase the angel. "you should always have things that you love around you" she said "I want to give this to you so you will remember your first Christmas in your home"
Monday Johnny brought cookie mix and suggested the kids bake cookies
for the neighbors. (trying to spill more giving into the kids Christmas than receiving)
