and here are a few scenes from outside my home, from the past two days. Do not expect scenes from elsewhere in my town, that would require traveling, and yes one can travel somewhat in town, but, you should expect to require the use of a shovel to keep your vehicle moving..in other words you're going to get stuck. Not my idea of fun...so I venture outside briefly to snap some photos and then hurry back into the warmth of my home. A few of those pics didn't even require a trip outside, I just opened the window :)
The picture of the bird feeders in the middle row is out my daycare window, yes that flag is resting on the snow, normally there is at least 24" clearance between the bottom of the flag and the ground. In the bottom row the last picture is the view of my front yard, if you look close you can see the bench is almost buried in snow...for a perspective scroll back a few posts to the before/after post you can see quite clearly how the bench usually looks. I love when the trees become white from the snow, where everything is coated and looks fresh and new...so far the winds haven't been too strong and the snow still has that fluffy appearance, and yes it is still snowing. School has been cancelled for two days in a row now...that makes a day interesting to say the least. I haven't peaked at the weather report yet this morning, I think I prefer to just live in denial for awhile..after all it has to stop sometime, right?
